Wisdom Tree Presents: Bible Adventures - 1991 Graphics by Nina Version 1.3 Review by Elecman elecman@neshq.com Noah's Ark: For 1 player only Objective: Pick up animals and place them in the ark. Here we have an interesting game mode. Your Noah, and your job is to collect one female and one male of the following species: Cows, Horses, Monkeys, Snakes, Pigs, Oxen, Eagles, Blackbirds, Turtles, Pandas, Lions, panthers, Tigers, Owls, Jackals, Leopards, Ducks, and Koalas. This game has 4 levels, and gets a bit harder as you progress. Some animals you have to bait, or knock out in order to pick up and collect. I find this amusing, as it clearly suggest violence towards animals in the name of god. Just joking. Some animals require a bit of luck and/or patience to collect. It gets even worse when the animal sprite goes off screen and goes back to it's original spawning point. Baby Moses: For 1 player only Objective: Carrying baby Moses to the finish line. This game is quite silly honestly. You run through Egypt while avoiding stones, snakes spiders and so on. This game mode is clearly the same as the other two, just you have to carry baby moses to the finish line. What I did to make this game more ammusing is, find those launching plates, and see if you can toss moses onto one. If you're lucky, he'll bounce off it. He doesn't bounce high, just enough to make the game have more meaning. David and Goliath: For 1 player only Objective: Collecting sheep, avoiding rams, squirels and the lion. The squirels are satanic in this game. They chuck nuts and crap at you. This game is not even close to the bible's scripture. You don't cut the head off of the lion in this version. After a few levels, you face cyclops scorpions, strange looking guards , and stones. After that, you get to fight off goliath with you're sling shot. Graphics: 7 The graphics in this game are a bit on the lighter side. Your enviroments don't change very much, so you see this games graphics right from the start. All it does is change the pallete colours. Sound: 7 The music in this game is of course public domain. The music is pretty repetitive, but didn't bother me. I found myself humming this tunes while playing it. Some reviewers have picked these games apart for the repitition, but for a Wisdom Tree Game/Color Dreams, this one had a pretty decent side scrolling action. gameplay: 8 Although the controls and such are beyond the laws of physics, this is kinda fun, but simplistic. It goes to show that not every game needs horendous slaughtering, and death to be ammusing. I do think this is one of the better Wisdom Tree Games, as it's a good alternative side scroller to Super Mario Bros 2. With 3 games in one, you can't go wrong, but you have to realize, that these games are all basically the same thing, but with different objectives and graphics.
