I. Introduction

	Okay people.  I am Lord Wack, and this save state hacking FAQ was
	made for the Adventures of Link/Zelda2 rom for the Jnes Nintendo
	emulator.  Basically all you need is to download a hex editor
	program, then find the "goto" command and enter in the offset(s) I
	have made available to you, then change them.
	
	To get to the file to hex, just run your emulator and the game you
	wish to make a file of, then go to cpu, then to save.  It will save
	the file to the save folder where your roms are(unless you messed
	with the settings).  When your done hexing the file, simply save it,
	then open up your emulator, run the game, then go to cpu, then to
	restore.

II. FAQ History

	This is version 1.2 of the FAQ.  It is simple and to the point.
	This is my first FAQ to ever make so tell me how you like it
	everyone.  My email is down in the Contact section.  (1.1) I have
	modified the writting so it can easily be read without having to
	scroll.  (1.2) I have added short descriptions of items, spells,
	and statistics.

III. Item Modifiers

-for below offsets enter 00 to delete item, and 01 to obtain item
79B [GLOVE]-lift heavy objects such as rocks
79D [RAFT]-launch raft off docks
79E [BOOTS]-float while jumping
79F [FLUTE]-play music
7A0 [CROSS]-destroy undead
7A1 [HAMMER]-destroy boulders
7A2 [SKULL KEY]-open all doors
7A3 [CANDLE]-see in dark caves

-for below offsets enter 00-09, otherwise you will get a letter/symbol	
7A9 [SMALL KEY]-open dungeon doors
7AA [CRYSTALS]-place them in palaces

IV. Magic Modifiers

-for below offsets enter 00 to delete item, and 01 to obtain item
791 [SHEILD]-take more damage
792 [JUMP]-jump higher
793 [LIFE]-regain some life
794 [FAIRY]-turn into a little fariry that can fly
795 [FIRE]-cast fire
796 [REFLECT]-reflect magic
797 [SPELL]-special spell for finding hidden room
798 [THUNDER]-does great damage

V. Statistics Modifiers

-for below offsets enter 00-08
78D [WEAPON/ATTACK]-more damage
78E [MAX MAGIC]-more magic cast per bar
78F [MAX LIFE]-more life per bar

-change below offsets to anything between D0-F4, D0= 0 and F4= space

VI. Credits

	Credits go out to Nintendo, Jnes emulator, and to my Mother who
	helped me beat the last boss to the original Legend of Zelda on
	Nintendo.  I had one of those cartridges that could not save files,
	so I stayed up one whole day playing through Zelda.  At about
	midnight I reached Gannon, but I was having trouble beating him.
	My mom was waiting for me to go to sleep, so she took the control
	from me and killed Gannon herself so I could see the ending of the
	game.
